Welcome to my website dedicated to chinchillas and the
people who love them. Let me start off by telling you about my chins.
My love for chinchillas began when I was 12 years old
while helping a friend with a "rodent show".
In this "show" where chinchillas, and I soon said that someday I
would have one. Unfortunately, my mom would never let me. Then a
few weeks after I graduated from college, I told my mom it was time.
She didn't believe me... but an hour later I came home with Nermal, a female
standard gray.
That was in
June of 1999. Then in March of 2000 the "addiction" took
hold again. I traveled from Pittsburgh, PA to Cincinnati, OH to pick
up Miss Lucy. Lucy is a beige female born on 28 December 1999.
So that's my "family," and I am sure it will
expand again with in the next year. (I bet mom will love that!!)
